Comfortless Cove

The Bonetta Cemetary at Comfortless Cove. Originally named Comfort Cove, in the 1830s through 1860s it was the place of quarantine (and inevitable demise) for fever victims from ships which had come from the west coast of Africa. HMS Bonetta brought yellow fever victims to Ascension in 1838.
