 Turks Cap and Prosperous Bay

View of Prosperous Bay

Turks Cap and Prosperous Bay viewed from The Barn.

Turks Cap is formed by two thick lava flows; a third flow is present on the ridge to the right. The ruin of Cox's Battery is at the end of the ridge.
Prosperous Bay (in the distance) was the landing point for British troops in 1673 after the island's brief capture by the Dutch.
